Tom

My wife Dana Lee and I have been married for 33 years. We have three grown children. Tameka has served in the Navy for 7 years and is expecting our first grandchild in July. Philip is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Carpentersville Fire Department. Nathan and his wife, Tabitha, have just sold their home in Idaho and are moving to Mexico to serve as full-time missionaries as directors of an orphanage.

I became a Christ-follower at age 19 when the Lord spoke to my heart and called me to walk with Him. Since then, I have continued to walk and grow in relationship with Him. I experience His presence more and more as I daily surrender myself to His will. Dana Lee and I have been attending Fox Valley for 4 years and happily serve in several ministries.

I have been self-employed for 32 years. My business specializes in construction, remodeling, and roofing. I love serving people in their homes and using that as an opportunity to share Christ.

Being an elder aligns with my passion for helping people develop authentic relationships with the Lord and discover their God-given purpose. My heart genuinely beats for this church and its mission of life transformation. I feel called to support others in their spiritual journeys and approach the role of elder with humility, knowing that it’s not about being up front but about walking alongside fellow believers as they grow in Christ.
