Mom’s Group

This summer, Mom’s Group will offer weekly park play dates that will allow us to connect, fellowship, and engage with moms outside of our church.  

Our primary mission with this group is to build relationships with moms in our community and share the love of Christ through our interactions with them. As we gather for these weekly park play dates, we will have the chance to meet and connect with moms who may be new to the area or looking for a supportive community.  Furthermore, this will also be an excellent opportunity for moms within our church to connect and fellowship with one another.

The park play dates will be held weekly every Wednesday from 10:00 am to noon, starting Wednesday, June 7th, and running through Wednesday, August 16th. We will rotate between different parks in the area to provide some variety and ensure plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors. Please take a look at the park schedule here. Our target age group for this initiative is 6 and under. However, we welcome all moms, regardless of their children’s ages, to join us and participate in the fun.

To ensure smooth communication and coordination, we will use the GroupMe app to stay updated on any changes. This will also provide an excellent platform for moms to connect outside of our scheduled park play dates. Join the GroupMe chat here.

Lastly, you are welcome to pack a lunch and stay for a picnic following the scheduled time. This is entirely optional and up to your preference.
