There’s a place for you at Fox Valley Church
Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, there's a place for you at Fox Valley Church.
God loves you, has a purpose for your life, and we'd love to help you discover what that looks like. No matter where you've been or what you're carrying, we’re glad you are here. We can't wait to meet you!

Meet Our Senior Pastor, Tom Atchison
Fox Valley Church is led by Senior Pastor Tom Atchison, who has called this church home since November 1992. Tom grew up in the Chicago suburbs and went on to earn a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Trinity International University. Before coming to FVC, he and his wife Cathy served together with CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) in Houston and Chicago.
After 12 years with CRU, Tom and Cathy sensed God leading them to serve in a church, specifically Fox Valley Church. They began their ministry here in November 1992. As Pastor Tom and Cathy have noted, the people of Fox Valley Church extended to them one of the greatest privileges in their lives: to serve as a pastor and wife in this wonderful, Spirit-filled community!
Tom and Cathy have three married children who all love the Lord, and a growing number of grandchildren they’re very proud of.
What to Expect
From the moment you walk through our door, our volunteers are here to welcome you and help you find your way. Each service runs approximately 65 minutes and includes a few songs, a time for announcements, a message from God’s Word, and a closing song. Dress as you are comfortable. You’ll see jeans and dresses and everything in between.
After the service, stop by the Café for coffee and a sweet treat. It’s one of our favorite spots to slow down, meet someone new, and enjoy the community.
If you have questions or want to meet someone from our team, head to Connect Central in the foyer. Our volunteers are there specifically for you. You can also scan the QR code on the back of the seat in front of you to leave a question or comment, and someone will personally follow up with you.
Have a question before your first visit? Email us anytime at info@foxvalleychurch.org.

What Do We Believe?
At the heart of everything we do is a life-changing message called the gospel, and it’s really the most important thing we could share with you.
The Bible teaches that we’ve all fallen short of who God made us to be. That distance we feel from God is real and is caused by our sin. There is nothing we can do on our own to close that distance.
But there's good news!
God didn’t leave us there. He loves us too much for that. Instead, He sent His Son Jesus to die in our place and to rise from the dead, breaking the power of sin and opening the door to a life fully connected to God. This is what the Bible means when it says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
The invitation is open to every one of us.
If you’re ready to take that step, you can pray something like this:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe you lived, died, and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and give my life to you. Forgive me and help me to live for you. Amen.
If you just prayed that, we would genuinely love to hear from you and help you figure out what comes next. Email us at info@foxvalleychurch.org — a real person will reach out soon.
