Fox Valley Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based community of believers that care about each other and our neighbors. Our greatest priority and strongest desire is to honor Jesus Christ in everything we do. We believe that being part of a local church is not about religion, but a relationship with Jesus. We are excited about how Jesus truly changes lives.
Our Vision is a Christ-centered REVOLUTION of TRANSFORMATION by the power of the Holy Spirit wherever we go.
We have four core values that shape who we are and all that we do:
Fox Valley Church is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith.
We believe there is only one living and true God who is perfect, infinite and eternal. He is in control of all things. He is a personal, spiritual being who exists in three persons who are the same essence, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of everything and everyone.
We believe all people are made in the image of God and matter to him and to us. Our Lord told us to seek those who are far from him. As we tell others and see them put their trust in Christ, we help them grow spiritually. There is urgency to our mission as there is a heaven to embrace and a hell to shun.
We believe Jesus Christ is both true God and true man. He lived a sinless life and died upon the Cross as substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world. He rose in his physical body, ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father.
We believe this is the age of the Spirit. Jesus came in the power of the Holy Spirit and promised there would be an outpouring of His Spirit upon His people. This outpouring includes spiritual gifts for his people to serve in the church and in the world. We believe all the gifts are available today and should be practiced.
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired words of God recorded by human authors and is inerrant in the original writings. This is God’s completed revelation of His will for the salvation of people and the final authority for all Christian faith,
life and doctrine.
We believe the church is the spiritual community who has put their trust in Jesus Christ for the payment of their sin on the Cross. Jesus is the Head of the Church and leads us to grow spiritually, to love one another and to bring the good news to the world that all people matter to God.
